Tokyo Game Show 2021 Canceled, Will Be Held Online

Bad news for game and tech fans. Due to the worsening COVID-19 pandemic in Japan, the Computer Entertainment Suppliers Association (CESA) has announced that it will cancel the 2021 Tokyo Game Show.

The latest gaming and technology show Tokyo Game Show 2021 was originally set to take place from September 24 to 27, 2021. The event will be held at the prestigious Makuhari Messe meeting center, located in Chiba, not far from Tokyo.

CESA said the Tokyo Game Show 2021 at the meeting center was officially canceled. The organizers will hold the game and technology event regularly on line to avoid the physical spread of COVID-19 at the event.

The event, which has been held since 1996, said CESA as the organizer, will be held online or online on line. The theme for the 30th edition of the event is “The Future Touched Gaming First”, related to new technology in the game.
