Lots of New Game Announcements This Year

E3 2021 is an event that gamers have been waiting for this year. There have been many games announced at the prestigious gamers event, E3 2021. Final Fantasy VII Remake with a new trailer, Phantasy Star Online 2 is now available outside of Japan, and Cyberpunk 2077 with Keanu Reeves appearing in the game. With just these 3 games, be enthusiastic the gamers are already very high.

Elden Ring

Previously, it was rumored that a new game was the result of a collaboration between Hidetaka Miyazaki (FromSoftware) and the author of the Game of Throne book, George RR Martin. It turned out that this rumor was true. At the E3 2021 event, a game trailer was shown which was the result of the collaboration of 2 familiar parties entitled Elden Ring. The impression of this game in my opinion is like a new Dark Souls game.



E3 2019

Game publisher Devolver Digital announced a new game with the theme of “reverse horror” entitled Carrion. In this game, you will not be a human, but a mysterious monster who is ready to kill and kill anyone who gets in his way. From the Carrion game trailer, you can freely kill humans with some of their unique abilities. Somehow, here I imagine a Symbiote creature that is Carnage from Marvel comics.

DOOM Eternal at E3 2021

Bethesda announced 2 new DOOM Eternal trailers, namely a trailer showing gameplay, locations that will be explored in DOOM Eternal and a Multiplayer Battlemode. In addition, there will be a special edition called “DOOM Eternal Collector’s Edition” which will surely make DOOM fans want to buy it. DOOM Eternal will be releasing on Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.

Ghostwire Tokyo trailer at E3 2021

Shinji Mikami the father of horror games (Resident Evil, The Evil Within) together with Tango Gameworks announced their new game titled Ghostwire Tokyo. The trailer for this game shows a mysterious creature that makes people in Japan disappear suddenly. Then a mysterious figure who seems to be the protagonist saves one of the humans who was almost kidnapped by the mysterious creature. The aura and atmosphere of this game reminds me of one of Hiroya Oku’s manga titled Gantz.

Game studio Arkane Lyon (Dishonored) announced a new FPS game called Deathloop. Not much information has been provided on this game. Judging from the trailer, Deathloop will provide a gameplay where you will kill all enemies on a mysterious island where the protagonist is stranded there. Anyone remember the light novel or manga called All You Need Is Kill? Or the film Edge of Tomorrow starring top actor Tom Cruise? Briefly, this game uses the title concept that I mentioned earlier.

Psychonauts 2

Double Fine Production announced a new game called Psychonauts 2. In addition, this game studio announced that they had merged and became part of Xbox Game Studios. Don’t forget to also show the gameplay trailer for Psychonauts 2.

Tales of Arise
