Story from Scarlet Nexus itself is quite unique, where the background of this story is Japan in the future. At that time, psionic hormones were found in the human brain and could provide sensory powers for humans.
Human life on earth changed instantly. Just as humanity was entering a new era, a vicious mutant known as “Other” descended from the sky. The goal? Kills and eats human brains at the same time.
Unable to be defeated by conventional methods of attack, special measures are needed to counter this overwhelming threat in order to save humanity. Those with acute extrasensory powers, known as Psionists, were humanity’s chance to attack the Other.
The game’s psions are gathered for their powers, and recruited into the Other Suppression Force or OSP, which is humanity’s final line of defense against these brain-hungry creatures.
